![]() Moe: Miko is a rather cute and hyperactive gamer geek. Not long after that episode streamed, Among Us, a game with a similar premise, gets a sudden surge in popularity after two years of obscurity. In Find the Glitch, the Techs think there's a glitch disguised as one of them. For those that grew up in Latin America during the late 90s and most of the 2000s, Vicencio is best known for being the host of the gaming preview & review show Cybernet. In the LatAm dub, Alexandra Vicencio voices both Miko's mother and the Glitch Techs' van autopilot.Bonus points for Ashly Burch doing voice work for both series (Enid in the former and Ridley here). Many fans of OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes are also fans of this series due to both having heavy video game influence.Later on, the fandom from Final Space joined in when the creators also petitioned to have both shows renewed. Both shows are being petitioned by fans to be renewed for future seasons and it helps that they both share a VA in Kirby Howell-Baptiste (Audrey for Glitch Techs and Grace for Infinity Train). The show shares one with Infinity Train especially since Book 3 moved from Cartoon Network to HBO Max.Series co-creator Dan Milano later confirmed this. Fanon: Some fans interpreted Miko as having ADHD due to her rushing through things and being impulsive.Fanfic Fuel: The entire premise of "video game characters coming into reality" is rife with crossover-fic opportunity.Epileptic Trees: There are debates about the chronological order of the episodes as it has been admitted that the Netflix order is not the production order, something that is noticeable in the series if one watches close enough as some characters appear but are not formally introduced until a later episode (Zahra, Haneesh, Bergy and specially Nix whose name is not revealed until Find the Glitch ) and the fact that Alpha barely appears in the series after its introduction. It's probably the closest thing to an unofficial Series Mascot- at least, to the fandom. ![]() Chomp Kitty is pretty popular with the fans, and has quite a few pieces of art made by said fans. When the second half of season one was released, people were quite pleased with her enhanced screen time and a sub-plot about falling for Five, a couple that was also pretty well received. Zahra was very well received as a side character. It comes out-of-nowhere and it's never addressed again unless we count the clipshow episode Find the Glitch as no other episode her crush on Five is shown or addressed, returning to her friendly but sassy personality. Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: In BUDS it's revealed that Zahra has an insecure crush on Five.Even Netflix puts her front and center in the catalog. ![]() Miko's eye-catching design, her wide hips, sturdy legs and abundance of Male Gaze is one of the few reasons people is aware of the series' existence after being Screwed by the Network and premiering on Netflix without much fanfare. Best Known for the Fanservice: Or rather, best known for Miko Kubota. The two songs ("Sock Em Rockers" and "Kaiju, Baby!") when Miko plays Sock Em Rockers in "Settling the Score", courtesy of a collaboration between Brad Breeck and Korean-American K-Pop idol MRSHLL.Special mention goes to the theme song, which has a killer instrumental that wouldn't be out of place in a final boss fight. Awesome Music: The show's soundtrack filled with high-octane arcade energy, courtesy of Brad Breeck, who Robles worked with before on Fanboy and Chum Chum, but who is likely best known for his work on Gravity Falls.Awesome Ego: Mitch Williams wears his ego like a crown, and he's got the talent to back it up. ![]()
